Wreckage Of Society are a 4 piece “Alternative Rock” band from Bristol UK formed in late 2014.
The idea came after singer (and rhythm guitarist) Luke Smith and lead guitarist Morgan Weeds had played together a few times performing a mixture of covers and originals purely acoustically. After the idea for a full band sound, Luke brought in drummer Cameron Jarvis, who he had played and written with prior to this, and likewise with Morgan bringing in bassist Jim Matthews, who he had met through college and been involved in various musical projects with. Following the first rehearsal the band jelled together and started writing ever since, creating a plethora of stylised songs ranging from heavy rock songs to more soulful ballads and everything in between.Since formation, the band has supported the likes of Classic Rock featured artist Blackwolf, and scottish rock legends, Big Country on their Greatest Hits Tour, as well as playing numerous other shows across 2015. The band has collectively written a vast amount of material spanning across multiple areas of the rock genre which will be recorded in the form of a full length album through the start and middle of 2016.
Although the bassist Jim will not be at this event, it will be a fantastic opportunity to hear the band unplugged and raw. Watch this space, these guys are going far. . . . . . . .
As seen at the Fleece, the Exchange in Bristol, this is just the beginning for this band.
